Good Readers

Here are some helpful hints to make you a better reader!

1. If you don't understand the words 1) look at your context clues 2) ask someone: parent, teacher, friend 3) look it up in the dictionary.

2. Use your existing knowledge from TV, Video, Books, Magazines, Internet, Family, Friends, Teachers and your experiences from sports, traveling, family life to help you understand the story.

3. Make a mental picture in your head of what is going on in the story.
